Seasons outside in (online)

The world keeps moving through cycles—spring’s awakening, summer’s intensity, autumn’s release, winter’s stillness. But each season carries both light and shadow, energy and retreat.

Spring bursts forth with freshness, possibilities, and enthusiasm—a time to awaken, to sow seeds, to lay the groundwork for what’s to come. Yet, beneath the bloom, it demands effort, patience, and trust in unseen growth.

Summer is alive, radiant, and social—a season of abundance, warmth, and connection. But it can also be overwhelming, relentless in its heat, asking us to slow down, to find balance between activity and rest.

Autumn arrives with golden transformation—a time of harvest, reflection, and letting go. It is the season of abundance, yet also of endings, as leaves fall and the world prepares for retreat.

And then, winter. A time of stillness, of quiet, of waiting. It can feel lonely, heavy, dormant. Yet, within its depths, there is space for renewal—for rest, for deep connection, for the slow work of gathering strength before the cycle begins again.

As the seasons shift around us, what shifts within you? Do you find yourself mirroring these cycles? Do certain seasons call to you more than others? Through guided writing prompts, we will explore these questions and uncover the rhythms that shape our inner and outer worlds.

No prior writing experience needed—just curiosity and a willingness to explore through words!
